Will the Logos, Signs, and Trademarks of our times, be misinterpreted by future archaeologists?

Wondering about archaeological digs in the future, say 2000 years from now.

If future archaeologists found symbols of McDonald's everywhere, and since the symbols are so prevalent all over the world, would they think it was a WORLD RELIGION?

Would future archaeologists see company names like, "Mercury" or find police badges with the star (pentagram) on them and determine that we still worshipped pagan gods, 2000 years after we supposedly stopped? Would the police badge be seen as a petition for protection from a pagan god?
I do understand there are neo-pagans (whose spirituality I respect) but most people of Western civilization identify with the Christian religion (for the record, I do NOT).

Would they be in a heated debate over whether Christianity completely wiped out the "old gods", or would the overwhelming symbolism that is still in existence in our culture, be seen as a sign of the survival of their worship with more prevalence than it actually is?

The biggest question is whether archaeologists or historians are going to be studying our civilization 2000 years from now.

For example:
Historians today more than archaeologists study the 19th and 18th century in Europe, because there are numerous written records dating from that period available for research.

Archaeologists today more than historians, study the Mayas, because there are very few written records from that period and most information is gathered by studying ruins and artifacts.

If our current civilization suffers a big natural disaster or widespread calamity such as an epidemic or nuclear war, and most of our written (and electronic) records are either destroyed or the people that understand them (we) die, then future archaeologists are the ones that (probably) will be unearthing our cities and studying our artifacts and reaching conclusions.

If on the contrary, civilization manages to survive in a more or less continuous way during the next 2 millenniums, then probably historians of the future are the ones that will study our times and customs. Maybe only experts would understand our language and our writing, just like only experts can read today a 12th century medieval manuscript, because language will surely have changed by then as well as writing.

Warning Signs of Your Relationship Going South

Everyone agrees that breaking up is an awful experience. However your partner gives out hints or small warning signs that can tell you he is considering breaking up with you. What you have to do is keep alert for these signs that tell you that your relationship is heading towards a rocky end. Understanding these signs can ache in places inside you, you didn’t even know existed, but it’s important to know the direction your relationship and your life are taking.

If your partner seems very eager to get off the phone when he is talking to you and sounds disinterested in what you are telling him, you should open your eyes and start thinking, because this is a warning. Ending a conversation abruptly means that there is something else on your partner’s mind. Now don’t panic! This is not a sure sign that your other half is getting ready to pack his bags and go, but just be fully aware of what is going on around you. 

The second thing to look out for is if he won’t talk about the future. If your partner avoids at all times talking about future plans, it might mean that he is not planning on sharing it with you. It could be that he doesn’t want even to think about plans for the next week. This is definitely not a good sign, so be aware.

Your partner is constantly picking fights with you on silly things like taking out the trash or not being organized and so on? Deep down he might want to break up, however is afraid to make the first step himself. By picking up stupid fights with you he hopes to get on your nerves so you tell him it’s over and you save him the worry of how he’s going to tell you. This plan often gets the job done and the person gets what he wants without having to look like the bad guy who broke your heart.

Lack of sexual appetite on the other hand means that he’s not so romantically interested in you anymore and he’s not seeing you attractive. Your partner might withhold from having sex since he’s not feeling comfortable with you mentally. This is a sign you definitely can’t miss and unfortunately it means that the future of your relationship does not look so bright.

The last of the signs you should look out for, is if your partner asks you for “some space” or “see other people”.  What he really means is “I don’t want to be committed to you any more”.  Your partner wants in reality to wriggle out of the relationship and he does not want to make a big deal out of it.  Chances are, if you give him the space he needs, you won’t see any of him ever again!

All the points that we discussed above, don’t give certainty that something is wrong; they however don’t augur well for the future of a love relationship. Don’t become obsessive but always be alert and don’t take occurrences in your relationship for granted.  The best thing you can do is keep an open and clear line of communication with your partner.  Closing one eye and thinking ‘we’ll see what happens’ won’t make the pain any less when the inevitable happens. So if you do see these warning signs, sit your partner down and talk about what’s wrong and whether it can be fixed.
