I was just wondering if the new Yankee Stadium met the requirements or could meet the requirements to host an Olympic games.

Isn't the Yankee stadium privately owned and if so they would have to get permission to use it. If so then yes, by all means anything to be eligible to host the greatest sporting event next to the World Cup.
